Kuo believes that Apple will finally ship the AirPower along with a new version of AirPods that will come with a wireless charging case in the first half of 2019. The new AirPods will also come with upgraded W2 chip and ‘Hey Siri’ functionality.

A number of leaks and rumors in recent times have also claimed that Apple will soon launch new AirPods and AirPower. The latter reportedly entered into mass production late last month. It is likely that we will see Apple launch the new AirPods and AirPower on March 25 when it is reportedly holding a media event to unveil its streaming service platform.

Kuo also believes that Apple will unveil an upgraded iPod Touch this year with a faster processor. It is unclear when Apple plans to release the refreshed iPod Touch but given the low demand, it is likely that the refresh will be limited to an internal upgrade. Finally, for the Apple Watch Series 5, Kuo says that Apple will switch to a new ceramic casing for the wearable and expand its ECG functionality to more countries. While not mentioned, we should also see the new Apple Watch come with a more efficient and powerful chip for improved performance and battery life.

Kuo does not mention anything about AirPods coming with new health sensors or other new features and given his reliable track record, one should have little reason to doubt his claims.
