Urban Armor Gear‘s Plyo Series doesn’t hide your fancy new iPad inside a bulky case.  It protects your expensive tablet but includes translucent plastic so it can still be seen.

This case, which also serves as a stand, is currently available only for the most recent 9.7-inch iPad models.

UAG Plyo is clearly protective

“Providing uncompromising protection, the Plyo Series will allow you to easily keep your iPad safe wherever you go,” promised Kaila Vandermey, Marketing Manager, in a statement. The case is made of lightweight materials but still includes an impact-resistant core with UAG’s air soft corners. It meets military drop-test standards (MIL STD 810G-516.6). That said, a lighter case like this one can’t offer the same level of protection as  bulkier options, like the OtterBox Defender Series.

There’s a loop to hold the original Apple Pencil. That’s a benefit for the 2018 iPad, the first to budget tablet support this active stylus.

The Plyo Series launched today for $69.99 on the UAG website. It’s available only in translucent and black, and is compatible with the 9.7-inch iPad models released in 2018 and 2017.
