If you’ve jailbroken your iOS 12.0-12.1.2 handset with the Electra Team’s all-new Chimera jailbreak tool and have been experiencing baffling sluggishness while using the Sileo app, then you might want to pay particular attention to the package manager’s latest update.

The Sileo Team has announced the release Sileo version 1.0.3 for both Chimera and Electra users just this evening via Twitter, an update that strives to boost Sileo’s performance by up to ten times for those who might be using more than 12 repositories at a time:

According to the official announcement, Sileo 1.0.3 incorporates each of the following changes:

Sileo v1.0.3:

– Improves the overall speed for users with a large amount of repos

– Improves New tab speed

– Fixes error with Fresh (not French Canadian) translation

– Fixes errors with Chinese translation

It’s worth noting that the Sileo Team launched Sileo 1.0.2 just a few hours ago to optimize the Featured tab’s banner images for slower internet networks and reduce memory usage. These were attempts to speed up the app’s loading times on older devices, and version 1.0.3 continues to embark on this endeavor to streamline the app’s overall performance.

Those jailbroken with the Electra Team’s Chimera or Electra jailbreaks will find this update in the Sileo app upon refreshing their installed sources.

Notably, LaughingQuoll and other developers are working on a new version of Sileo that will run on other jailbreaks, such as Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver tool, and the Sileo Demo for non-jailbroken devices should soon be made available for testing for everyone else.
