Review: Elegant Titanium Apple Watch Band from Nomad

I’ve owned luxury watches and smart watches and always felt that it was a shame to have to choose between them. Apple came out with a great smart watch, but the silicon and fabric bands didn’t shout luxury. I’ve primarily used the Milanese Loop band with my Apple Watch, but Nomad just sent me its new Titanium Band ($179.95) and it may change all that.

First, it’s titanium, so it’s strong but isn’t too heavy. I type a lot in my job, so a heavy watch can be cumbersome. Like a luxury watch, the Nomad Titanium Band has a well-made, easy-opening clasp. Nomad offers it in both black or silver color choices. It might be too large for some users, so the company includes an impressive link removal tool. It’s only sold for the larger Apple Watch sizes, namely 42 mm and 44 mm Apple Watches.
