Apple and Beats announced the Powerbeats Pro totally wireless earbuds earlier this year. We know they arrive in May, but Beats has made an important change to the launch.

When Beats announced the Powerbeats Pro, they unveiled a series of colors. However, the company has made a change to its official landing page for the headphones. It turns out that Beats will be leaning on the Black variant of the Powerbeats Pro to kick things off, launching that option first in May. We still don’t know when in May they will launch, but when they do it will only be the black variant.

After that, Beats will launch Ivory, Moss, and Navy after that. Beats doesn’t say when, specifically, only that they will arrive in the summer months:

“Powerbeats Pro in Black availability begins in May. Ivory, Moss and Navy will be available this summer. Color availability is subject to change.”

(Here is a comparison between the Powerbeats Pro and the second-generation AirPods.)

The Powerbeats Pro will be available in four colors: Black, Moss, Ivory, and Navy. When the new totally wireless earphones launch in May (no specific date just yet), they will retail for $249.95. The headphones will be available from Apple.com and Apple’s physical retail stores in the United States. The Powerbeats Pro will also be available in Apple Stores in “Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK”.
