New iOS 13 Concept Video Showcases More Than 40 New Hopeful Features

Concept images and videos are always fun to look at, especially the well-made ones. Of course, there is always a bit of a hopeful nature to them, too.

Most concepts envision what could be possible, especially when we are so far out from Apple actually announcing something. This latest concept video from Concepts iPhone certainly falls into that category. In the latest concept video we can see a few different things, like a rumored dark mode, but a lot of other new additions that might not make the grade later this year. Namely, a less-intrusive Siri interface, and tweaks to the volume control and more.

Here’s the video:

One of the most oft-requested features for the OLED-equipped iPhone lineup (iPhone X and iPhone XS for now) is an always-on display, something that’s been present in Android phones for years now. In this case, the concept puts together a similar feature, one that would show the time and date, as well as four “complications” that could be unique to each user. Being able to quickly see the weather, for instance.

Multiple user support for the iPad is envisioned in this concept, as well as tweaks to Apple Music’s interface, some changes to the stock Camera app, Siri Suggestions in Messages, and more. There is even the inclusion of locking apps behind Face ID — something we saw WhatsApp recently roll out.

Rumor has it that Apple is going to introduce dark mode in iOS 13, as well as some bigger changes to the iPad lineup with the new software. Apple is expected to unveil most of the new software tricks at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference. That is rumored to kick off on June 3.

What do you think of this latest concept video? What are you hoping to see in iOS 13?
