Australian developer Will Bishop is back again with another great app for Apple Watch. In 2018, two of his apps – Chirp for Twitter and Nano for Reddit – made our list of the Top 10 apps of the year for the wearable device.

And his latest app brings another popular site to Apple Watch. As you could probably tell by the name, MiniWiki is all about the popular online encyclopedia.

After downloading the companion iPhone app, head to Apple Watch and select MiniWiki. You can search for a subject with voice dictation or scribble. The articles look great on the watch and you can scroll through the information by using the Digital Crown or swiping up or down on the screen.

Users can select the Nearby section to view any Wikipedia articles regarding your current location.

There is also quick access to view the most currently read articles on the site.

MiniWiki is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

You can unlock the MiniWiki Pro option with a pay what you want in-app purchase of $1.99, $2.99, or $4.99. That will allow you to download articles to read offline, the ability to switch to the iPhone, and to bookmark an article to read later on your phone or watch.
