macOS 10.15’s Music and TV Apps Leak in Screenshots

Following leaked screenshots of iOS 139to5Mac has now released screenshots of the Music and TV app that will be a part of macOS 10.15.

macOS 10.15 will come with new Music and TV apps. Both of them follow a similar design language — there’s a sidebar for different categories/sections and a main white section to display all the information.

As previously reported, macOS 10.15 will come with a new Music app that will live alongside iTunes. It will offer user access to Apple Music as well as their local library. Additionally, it will also allow them to sync their iPhones and iPads. From the looks of it, Music app will eventually end up replacing iTunes in macOS.

The TV app will provide users with access to Apple’s TV+ subscription service. Its sidebar will categorize content depending on their type: Movies, TV Shows, Downloaded, etc. The TV app is already available on iOS and Apple is expanding it to the Mac to ensure a quality user experience for Apple TV+.

Apart from the layout, the screenshots don’t reveal much about the functionality of both apps. That’s something we will get to know early next week when Apple unveils macOS 10.15 at the opening keynote of WWDC 2019.

macOS 10.15 is expected to come with some other new system apps as well. Most of them would be Marzipan apps meaning they would also be available on the iPad and work in a similar fashion across both platforms.
