iOS 13 is a testimony of how Apple is working towards giving users more power. iOS 13 comes with a new way to delete apps from your device right from the update list on the App Store.
The delete feature can be used when you are updating apps on your phone or viewing the installed apps on the App Store. All you need to do is swipe left and select the “Delete” option (Check out the video below). Once this is done, the app will be uninstalled from your device. You can always choose the Cancel option if you don’t want to delete the app.

This feature speaks volumes about convenience. Earlier on, one had to go to the menu, search for the app icon and then delete the app. The new feature on iOS lets you do all of that without leaving the App Store.
It is also worth noting that Apple has ditched the update icon on the App Store in favor of Apple Arcade. This will not only make room for Apple Arcade but also put the spotlight on the upcoming gaming service. Meanwhile, you can access the app updates by clicking on your profile picture on the App Store and scrolling down to the Pending Updates section. The iOS 13 offers a slew of utilitarian features, don’t forget to check out all the new iOS 13 features.
Our Take
Apple has prioritized simplicity over giving the power of customization to the users. However, this is changing in the new iterations of iOS. In fact, it all started with iOS 12, when Apple finally offered am enhanced Notification Control feature and also baked it features like screen time management.
