iPhone Xs Max back

Apple has released a new ‘Shot on iPhone’ ad for the iPhone XS featuring award winner photographer Christopher Anderson. Compared to other ads from Apple, this one is a bit longer than usual and runs for around 3 minutes.

Anderson is a renowned photographer and his work has been featured on many popular magazines. He has even won the prestigious Magazine Photographer of the Year and World Press Photo awards.

The ad highlights the various work of Anderson who used an iPhone XS to shoot all the photos seen in the video. In the ad, Anderson highlights his workflow and how he takes a photo — considering how the light falls on the subject, using props to play with light, and more. He also uses the built-in photo editing tools in iOS to tweak the final image and make the subject pop more.

The iPhone XS features a dual-camera setup at the rear which includes a primary 12MP f/1.8 shooter and a 12MP telephoto sensor. It comes with a number of Portrait mode effects which Apple is further improving in iOS 13.
