iPhone Xs Max back

Apple today shared a series of how to videos on its YouTube channel which show how to use the various camera-related features on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.

The first video in the series shows how one can quickly use the search feature in the Photos app to find a photo. Since the photo app uses machine learning and AI, one can search for people, objects, locations, and things directly. This feature is similar to Google Photos, though unlike Google, Apple does all the ML processing locally.

The second video highlights how one can capture Portrait photos on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or the iPhone XR and use the Depth Control feature to control the bokeh effect.

The third video in the series shows how one can pick their favorite frame from a Live Photo — Select, Edit, Slide, Key Photo, and you are done!

The last video in the series highlights how iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone X, and iPhone 8 Plus owners can shoot Portrait photos with a Stage Light Mono lighting effect. Part of the Portrait feature in the camera, this lighting effect is not available on all iPhones.

Did you know about all the camera features that Apple has highlighted in its how-to videos today? If so, which one is your favorite? Did you already know that you could search for objects and things in the Photos app? Drop a comment and let us know!
