2019 iPhone 11 Third-Party Case Renders Leak
Case renders of the 2019 iPhone 11 have leaked and they are in line with the leaked renders of the handsets that we have seen so far. The case renders show a massive squarish camera cutout at the rear which will house the triple cameras along with the LED flash setup.
It is likely that the case renders are based on the leaked iPhone 11 3D CAD renderings itself. Most case makers end up designing and producing their cases based on these leaked CAD renders since they are usually extremely accurate. By taking this risk, they are able to release a full lineup of cases for new iPhones even before it hits the market.
Apart from the massive cutout for the rear cameras, there’s not much to see here. Detailed CAD renders have already revealed that Apple’s 2019 iPhone 11 lineup will feature triple cameras at the rear. The dual-camera setup on the iPhone X/XS series will be complemented by the addition of a new ultra-wide angle shooter.
As for the 2019 iPhone XR, the leaked CAD renders point to a dual-camera setup. It is unclear if Apple will be adding a telephoto sensor or an ultra-wide angle shooter to the device.
Apple will be using a single rear glass panel for the 2019 iPhone 11 as well as the iPhone XR. Unlike older iPhones, there won’t be a cutout for the rear camera setup. It remains to be seen how this design change will look like in real life as it does not really look attractive in the CAD renders.
