Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 to Support A12 Devices like iPhone XS Soon after Release

The @pwn20wnd team has been teasing an iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak for iPhones and iPads since quite a while now. So far though, they have only teased jailbreak support for iOS devices that are not powered by an A12 Bionic chip. Support for iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and other A12 Bionic devices has been notably absent from unc0ver due to the lack of testing devices.
The good news is that the pwn20wnd team has now confirmed that they will add support for A12 Bionic devices like the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and 2018 iPad Pro to unc0ver soon after its initial release. That’s definitely great news for iPhone XS and iPhone XR owners who were disappointed thinking they would have to wait longer for a possible iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak to show up for their device.
unc0ver *will* get A12 support shortly after the initial release.

So, if you are looking to jailbreak your iPhone XS or iPhone XR, make sure that it is running iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2. If you have already updated to iOS 12.1.4, you can downgrade your device to iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 as that’s a release that Apple is still signing.
The pwn20wnd team has made great progress on unc0ver jailbreak for iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2. They are currently privately testing the release and fixing all the reported bugs and plan on releasing a public build soon.
