Most iPhone and iPad users are accustomed to having their application Dock at the bottom of their Home screen, but if you’re feeling courageous enough to change things up, then you might take a liking to a new free jailbreak tweak called stratosphere by iOS developer Sam Gardner (A.K.A. Samg_is_a_Ninja).

As shown in the screenshot example above, stratosphere moves the application Dock from the bottom of the Home screen to the top, delivering an entirely different aesthetic and user experience.

While it might seem polarizing at first, keep in mind that moving the application Dock actually moves the scrollable portion of your Home screen down at least one full row, which arguably makes reaching the top row of application icons a lot easier for those with smaller hands.

Stratosphere doesn’t come with any options to configure, so all you need to do is install the tweak from Cydia to enjoy everything it can offer. If at any time you’re dissatisfied with the result, you can easily uninstall the tweak to disable it on your handset.

Those interested in trying stratosphere can download it for free from Cydia’s BigBoss repository. The tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 11 and 12 devices.
