Ukrainian developer Readdle today launched a new delegation feature in its popular Spark email client for iPhone, iPad and Mac which promises to change the way managers delegate emails to their subordinates.
You simply assign emails to people as if they’re tasks, set desired deadlines and let your co-workers do their thing while you’re keeping tabs on their progress and getting notified when they’re closed.
Here’s a 1-minute video that shows how it works.
Denys Zhadanov, Readdle’s Vice President of Marketing:
This comes super handy turn emails in your inbox into someone’s tasks. Right from your inbox you can assign email, set a deadline and track if it’s closed.
Spark continues getting great productivity features!
He continued:
You can do all of this without sharing your personal inbox with another person. This will be invaluable for C level people who work with personal assistants and direct reports.
This new feature has arrived just days following Spark’s previous update that brought the full set of rich text formatting features.
Email Delegation is available as part of Spark for Teams, a premium feature that anyone can try for free with 10 free active delegations per team. When your team exceeds the limit, simply purchase Spark Premium for $7.99 per user per month.
Additional details about the handy delegation feature can be found in Readdle’s blog post.
Spark’s iOS and macOS apps are free downloads from App Store.
In other Spark news, Readdle will be launching Spark for Android by the end of this month.
