If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the Solo3 Wireless Headphones from the Apple-owned Beats, perhaps an injection of new color options can sway you.
Beats has officially launched a brand new collection of headphone colors for early 2019. This is the “Club Collection”, and it’s the result of a new partnership with the YouTube fashion show NAYVA. There are four new colors to choose from: White, Red, Navy, and Yellow. Each of the new Solo3 Wireless Headphones have a two-tone design.
(Apple is no stranger to NAYVA, as it has paid for product placement in the fashion show.)
Here’s how Apple describes the Solo3 Wireless Headphons on its official landing page for the device:
Make it loud. Embrace bold sound and even bolder colors with the Beats Club Collection. With up to 40 hours of battery life and award-winning Beats sound, Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones are perfect for staying inspired. So go ahead, pick your color, push play, and show the world who you really are.
While the new color options certainly standout, the Club Collection of the Solo3 Wireless Headphones does not change anything on a technical or specification level. Functionally, these Solo3 Wireless Headphones are the same as any other special variant that has launched in the past. That includes the W1 wireless chip inside, which makes it easier and faster to connect to Apple devices and improves general wireless stability across the board.
Of course, special editions and collections for Beats headphones are not unheard of. Back in May of last year, for instance, Apple and Beats launched the “Decade Collection” to commemorate ten years of Beats headphones. Specifically for the Solo3 lineup, though, Beats introduced the Third Man Records variant back in 2017.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Solo3 Wireless Headphones Club Edition is priced at $199.95. If you’re interested in the new color options, it looks like you should be able to find all of them at your local Apple Store beginning today. If you prefer shipping, the fastest shipping option could have them delivered today in some markets. Or by Thursday, June 13, if you choose the free option.
What do you think of the Club Collection for the Solo3 Wireless Headphones? Any of the colors stand out to you?
