Apple today sent out press invites for the opening keynote of WWDC 2019. The company had previously announced that WWDC 2019 would be taking place from June 3-7 in San Jose, California. Like last year, it will be hosted at the McEnery Convention Center.

The opening keynote of WWDC 2019 will be the one where Apple will be making all the major announcements. The company is expected to unveil iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and more. The opening keynote will take place on June 3 at 10:00 AM. The event is also going to be live-streamed by Apple.

Unlike iOS 12, iOS 13 is expected to be a massive upgrade that will introduce many new features. This includes a system-wide Dark mode, new Undo gesture, revamped Volume HUD, improved multitasking on the iPad, and more. Apple is also expected to talk about and release the Marzipan SDK which will allow developers to write apps for the Mac and iPad with a single piece of code.

As for watchOS 6, it is expected to reduce Apple Watch’s reliance on the iPhone. It will bring a standalone App Store to the wearable along with new watch faces and health-oriented features.

Apart from the major versions of its operating systems, Apple is also expected to give a glimpse at its next-gen Mac Pro and show other hardware products at the event. However, given that WWDC is a developer-centric event, the chances of any new hardware unveiling from Apple are pretty slim.
