Apple Could Preview Modular New Mac Pro at WWDC 2019

We might see Apple showcase the new modular Mac Pro at WWDC 2019. As per a Bloomberg report, Apple is mulling showing the new Mac Pro on which it has been working since the last few years at this year’s WWDC.
While WWDC is strictly software and developer-oriented event, Apple has used the event to showcase its upcoming hardware. It had first debuted the HomePod at WWDC 2017 before releasing it to the public in early 2018. Given that the new modular Mac Pro would be aimed at developers creators, it does make sense for Apple to showcase it at its developer conference which will reportedly take place from June 3 to June 7 in San Jose, California.
Apple had released the existing Mac Pro in 2013 and has not updated it since. This led to the company receiving a flurry of backlash from developers and high-end users who need a powerful Mac for development purposes. Finally, in 2017, Apple confirmed that it is working on a completely redesigned Mac Pro that will be modular in nature. Aimed at pro customers, the modular nature will ensure easier upgradability over the years for customers.
At this point, it is unclear that the modular new Mac Pro will launch in 2019 itself even if Apple showcases it at WWDC 2019. There have been no leaks and rumors surrounding the new Mac Pro so not much is known about it currently.
