Apple has quietly launched a new YouTube channel dedicated to its new Apple TV service. First spotted by MacStories, the channel offers a mix of trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows, celebrity interviews, behind the-scenes-footage and more.
Uploads to the page go back about 4 weeks, and at the time of posting, there were just over 40 videos. In addition to the aforementioned content, there is also timely Game of Thrones clips and teasers for Apple’s own shows like CarPool Karaoke.
Something else notable about the new YT channel is its design. It shares the same icon with, and looks a lot like, the new Apple TV app. It’ll be interesting to see how the relationship between the channel and the app evolve in the coming months.
The new Apple TV app launches with the upcoming iOS 12.3 update, bringing about a more streamlined interface, better recommendations and support for more services. The Apple TV+ streaming service is expected to launch later this year.
