Apple’s pivot to services will come into full view at tomorrow’s star-studded media event at Steve Jobs Theater. Seemingly trolling everyone ahead of the big reveal, the event live stream became active about two hours ago, but it’s not what you’re probably thinking.

Apple’s media event takes place at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California tomorrow at 10am, but the video stream is already showing what appear to be some randomly showing different things on the screen, as noted by Jim Gresham.

One of the scenes involves Marvel’s Captain America. “Captain America is calling in on the Apple livestream,” wrote Benjamin Mayo as he tweeted out one of the scenes from the live stream that I’ve embedded top of post.

Most of the time, however, the live stream shows the presentation screen with the default Flurry screen saver in macOS or empty audience seats, some of which are reserved for some powerful Hollywood figures who will be in attendance tomorrow.

This seems to be a form of marketing rather than a mistake on part of some overzealous Apple employee.

“This isn’t a Photoshop,” Benjamin wrote on Twitter.

“The stream of the Theater has been live for a few hours at this point, it’s obviously not a mistake. This is the viral hype iteration of Apple (and in line with Tim’s memey tweets last week),” the tweet reads.
