Apple Stops Signing iOS 12.2, Downgrading from iOS 12.3 No Longer Possible

After the release of iOS 12.3 in the last week of April, Apple has now stopped signing iOS 12.2. This means if you have already upgraded to iOS 12.3, you won’t be able to downgrade back to iOS 12.2.

The jailbreak community usually recommends one to stay on the lowest iOS release possible.

There are two iOS 12 – iOS 12.12 jailbreak tools available right now, and it is unlikely that we are going to see an iOS 12.2 or higher jailbreak becoming available now, especially since Apple will announce iOS 13 at WWDC 2019 next month. Before iOS 13 drops though, Apple will also release iOS 12.4 which will bring Apple Card support to the OS.

Plus, iOS 12.3 brings a number of new features to the table including a redesigned TV app, Apple TV Channels, AirPlay 2 support for smart TVs, and plenty of bug fixes.

With no iOS 12.2 jailbreak on the horizon, if your iPhone or iPad is already running iOS 12.3, you should just stick to it and enjoy the new features offered by it.
