2019 iPhone XR Could Be Available in Green and Lavender Colors

A new rumor claims that Apple will be dropping the Coral and Blue color options for the 2019 iPhone XR. Instead, it would replace them with Green and Lavender colors.

Apple will continue to offer the 2019 iPhone XR in six colors but make this small tweak to the color options. The other four colors in which the 2018 iPhone XR is offered — White, Black, Yellow, and (PRODUCT)RED) — will also be offered for the 2019 iPhone XR.

The report from Mac Otarkara also has some information about the 2019 iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max colors. They are expected to be available in White, Black, Spearmint, Mellow Yellow, Lilac and (PRODUCT)RED colors. The same set of color options are available for the official Apple cases for the 2018 iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Our Take

It looks like for colors, Apple is going to repeat its strategy from 2018. The 2019 iPhone lineup will likely be available in the same set of colors as the 2018 iPhone lineup. This means the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max will be available in three colors — Silver, Grey, and Gold — while the iPhone XR lineup will be available in six colors with just a bit of tweaking from Apple’s side to replace the less popular color options with new shades.
